Yes, drawings and photos can support an initial quotation review, although a final price normally requires confirmed dimensions, specifications and project conditions. Useful information includes the project location, plans or elevations, opening schedule, approximate sizes, quantities, preferred window or door type, glass, finish, hardware, target schedule and clear site photos. Marked-up drawings are especially helpful when several openings differ.
An early quotation should be treated as a scope-based estimate, not a promise that the design, dimensions or installation conditions have already been verified. Revisions are expected when site measurement, structural coordination or final material choices change the scope.
Decision points
- Owner: Share the location, intended use, budget priorities and preferred completion window so the enquiry can be triaged properly.
- Architect/designer: Send the latest drawings and identify design intent, glass performance, finish, hardware and any specification constraints.
- Contractor/builder: Include access, floor level, substrate, lifting, protection, site readiness and installation responsibilities.
Start through OTEC’s project information and contact page. Attach the clearest available drawings or photos and state which dimensions are measured versus provisional.
