A square-metre rate that omits those variables can be misleading, especially for doors, large panels, special shapes or complex sites.
The best comparison is a written, like-for-like quotation showing what is included and excluded. Ask whether the figure covers site measurement, fabrication, delivery, installation, protection, taxes or other project-specific items. Treat any early budget figure as provisional until dimensions and specifications are checked.
